Jennifer
K. Smith is
a professional cutter/draper trained in costume creation
for theatre, dance, and opera. She
has worked in the costume field for over 20 years and has
created clothing for theatre, dance, and opera.
Jennifer
taught at the University of Florida for 13 years. She taught
costume technology courses including: Beginning Costume
and Make-up, Advanced Costume Construction, Tailoring,
Computer Pattern Drafting, Painting and Dyeing for the
Theatre, Costume Crafts, and Advanced Make-up.
Jennifer
continues to work with professional companies such as the
Los Angeles Music Center Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and The Colorado
Shakespeare Festival.
